DAY 1. Arrival in Lisbon.
We will welcome you at Lisbon airport and we will make the group transfer from the airport to our base at the end of the afternoon. The transfer to Grandola is approximately 1 hour.
Briefing. Dinner and overnight in a charming guest house with swimming pool.
DAY 2. Grandola - Aljezur (230 km) A 100% coastal stage where we will descend along the Atlantic Ocean by the Alentejana and Vicentina coasts. We will stop at Vila Nova de Milfontes for lunch. In the afternoon we will discover the coast Vicentina, a hot spot for surfing with beautiful cliffs plunging into the ocean. We will enjoy our *** hotel with a wonderful pool.
DAY 3. Aljezur - Sao Bras of Alportel (200 km) We will start by driving in eucalyptus forests, then to find more winding paths will take us to Foia the highest point of the Algarve at 910 m, then we will go down to Monchique for the lunch break. We'll visit the dam of Sao Bartolomeu de Messines. We will end this cool loop by the wild Serra de Caldeira and its thousand and one tracks! End of the trip to the departure hotel in Sao Bras de Alportel.
DAY 4. Sao Bras de Alportel - Serpa (210 km) We will ride all morning in maquis landscapes until the lunch break in Martim Longo where we can enjoy grilled black pig. Beautiful trails will lead us to the medieval city of Mertola, gateway to the Guadiana Natural Park that we will cross. End of stage in Serpa where a hotel *** with swimming pool.
DAY 5. Serpa - Estremoz (220 km) We will start this day along the Spanish border by the Serra da Adica, then to go over the barren dam of Alqueva, the largest reservoir of water in Europe. lunch break in the fortified town of Monsaraz, the tracks in the eucalyptus forests of Serra d'Ossa will enchant us. We will end the day in Estremoz where we can admire its ramparts. Dinner and overnight in a charming guest house..
DAY 6. Estremoz - Grandola (230 km) This last day will take us across Portugal from east to west. Lunch in Ciborro. Afternoon in the pine forests and sometimes sandy trails. We will end this jounrée next to Grandola where a nice guest house with pool will welcome us to spend the evening and the night. We will not be left with beautiful paths for this last day in the highest part of the Algarve. End of the journey to the guest house of departure to Grandola.
Group transfer late afternoon to a hotel *** in downtown Lisbon. Night and breakfast at the hotel.
DAY 7. According to the choices of each one, you have the possibility of extending your stay in a hotel *** in the city center of Lisbon.
